Columbia Fiction Foundry president Ken Schept kicked off the Columbia Selects 2024-25 season with two other Writing Division graduates, Ines Rodrigues and Selden Cummings, on Thursday evening, November 7, at KGB Bar, a Manhattan literary institution.
Ken read from his latest novel, League of Losers, Ines shared her latest fiction, a story of three Brazilian women looking for a new lives in the USA, and Selden, a poet and musician, offered a selection of poetry with mythological and stream of consciousness references. Writing Division graduate and fiction author Bryan VanDyke served as MC.
Columbia Selects is an alumni reading series hosted by the Writing Division of Columbia University’s School of the Arts. The series continues the first Thursday of each month through spring 2025 at KGB Bar, 85 East 4th Street.
