Columbia Fiction Foundry is an official Shared Interest Group within the Columbia Alumni Association. Regardless of which Columbia school you attended, if you are serious about fiction writing, then you are welcome to join and contribute.

Twice a month Columbia Fiction Foundry runs workshops that are open to all Columbia alumni, students, and faculty. In addition to bi-monthly workshops, Columbia Fiction Foundry hosts events with professionals from the publishing world including agents and writers. Virtual Fiction Foundry is meant to accommodate alumni writers from across the United States and around the world who cannot participate in the group’s live gatherings, but still wish to critique others’ manuscripts and gain feedback on their own.

Whatever your preference, Columbia Fiction Foundry can offer you useful resources for improving your writing and helping you navigate the publishing business.
