A Conversation with Richard Ford

The Columbia Fiction Foundry is proud to host A Conversation with Richard Ford.  Mr. Ford is an instructor in the Graduate Writing Program of the School of the Arts.  Panelists from the Columbia Fiction Foundry workshop will discuss the craft of fiction with Mr. Ford, after which he will respond to questions from other alumni.  He is the winner of the PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction and the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. the Prix Femina Etranger, The Andrew Carnegie Award for Excellence in Fiction, the PEN/Malamud Award for Excellence in Short Fiction, and the REA Award for the Short Story.  

As an expression of your appreciation for Mr. Ford's appearance, kindly purchase a book of his and bring it in to be signed.  The Columbia Bookstore usually has a good selection.

Seating is limited to the first 20 alumni to respond.
